2008 Diet and Detox For Long and Healthy Life

We found something very unique and positive for your 2008 New Year’s resolutions; you know, the ones you never keep. We don’t either. That is why we found this so fascinating. By the time we got through with the e-workshop by this modern Shaman, we are inspired to really take some action. Knowing this information is like reading every health post we ever put up and then a lot more. There is stuff here your doctor does not know and wishes he did, especially when his or her family gets sick with some terminal or so-called incurable disease. According to Shaman Jim, there is almost nothing that cannot be remedied if the person has the right attitude and they seek aright. The correct method will manifest. Here is a description in his own words;

"I HAVE COME UP WITH A HOME METHOD THAT IS SIMPLE, EASY AND NATURAL TO LOSE BAD FAT, REJUVENATE AND GENERALLY MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD. BUT IS MUCH MORE THAN THAT. IT IS A SYNOPISS OF ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW TO SURVIVE THIS SICK AGE AMD BE HEALTHY AND HAPPY.

AND, THERE IS SOME NEW VERY CRITICAL INFORMATION TO PROTECT YOU FROM TOXINS SNEAKED INTO YOUR FOOD AND WATER.

AND, I WILL TELL YOU OF THE SUPPRESSED CURES AND REMEDIES THAT ARE REAL AND BEING USED AROUND THE WORLD!

By following this simple method, you will gain an understanding of how your body really works and how to best work with Nature to attain your optimal health, fitness and happiness. THIS AWARENESS, will help you automatically choose aright, and you will lose unwanted weight naturally and keep it off without drugs and other unnatural and harmful chemicals. By investing the little time it takes to understand my Shaman understanding of the body, you will gain back your health and keep it.

Unfortunately, when they handed out the bodies in this world they forgot to give us the instruction manual on how best to operate it. But, we do have the Shaman knowledge, a record of what was in that operations manual and then some.

We are going to learn how the body really works and we are going to keep it simple. It is going to be practical. We only want enough theory so we can get practical results, so bear with me to get a basic concept of health and it’s ins and outs. Once we understand the basics then we can immediately apply it to overcome diseases, lose fat, feel good all the time, etc. etc. In other words, feel and look like God intended us to, happy, healthy and beautiful. But first some basic facts about Nature, the body and the effects of wrong living in our spiritually ignorant civilization.

Some of this info has appeared before on alternative health websites. The article I wrote got over 11,000 hits and I hope it did someone some good. But that was incomplete. Here I will offer the theory and the method, the best way to get back to and retain maximum health for your body and your mind.

I also offer some alternative and mostly unknown (suppressed) healing methods you might want to consider if you have one of the fatal diseases that ordinary medicine deems incurable. There is nearly always an answer if you will open your mind and are willing to do the work to get yourself back into the harmony of correct living. But first, you walk a while in my shoes and see what it is about. First walk, then fly. THIS IS NOT JUST ANOTHER BOOK OR SEMINAR. THIS IS IT. YOU WILL GET THE KNOWLEDGE OF 100 GREAT HEALTH BOOKS BASED ON THE TRUTH AND NOT ON SOME TRICK TO KEEP YOU SICK AND BLEED YOU FOREVER FOR YOUR INSURANCE MONEY. WALK WITH ME."

Amazing uses of solar power in your home

The use of solar energy in the home in recent years had reached a remarkable edge. The continuous research for an alternative power source due to the perceived scarcity of fuel fossils is its driving force.

Definitely anything that requires electricity can be powered by solar energy. Its application was proven to be most economical, as most systems in individual uses requires but a few kilowatt of power.

Solar powered equipments and appliances are also clean and non- polluting. It was classified as one of the renewable source of energy, highly reliable and requires little maintenance.

Solar energy is inexhaustible. The earth receives in just one hour more energy from the sun than what we consume in the whole world for one year.

In places where power supply is hard to get through or have no access to the electricity grid, solar power is the preferred solution. Using solar power energy converters are configured to be less expensive than extending the grid to reach those far flung locations

What really are the main ways where solar power is used in the homes today? In recent times, there are a thousand and one ways where solar energy is used in the homes. What are mentioned in this page are just but the tip of the iceberg to wit:

  • TV and radio, telephony or radio telephones, refrigeration equipments and other home appliances. Remote homes with sufficient sun exposures can obtain cheap and reliable electricity to meet basic needs for lighting and radio and television using a simple PV system comprising of a PV panel, a rechargeable battery to store the energy captured during daylight hours, a regulator and the necessary wirings and switches.
  • Water supply system. PV systems can be used to pump water in remote areas .it can be part of a potable water supply system. Specialized solar water pumps are designed for submersible use or to float on open waters. To meet larger requirements of water supply in an off-grid location, the PV sometimes is backed with a small diesel generator so that the PV system would no longer be sized to cope the worst sunlight conditions during the year.
  • Area lighting. Solar energy can be used to power area lighting to enable more outdoor activities after dark, illuminate signs and advertising boards and improve security.
  • Consumer products. Calculators, toys and recreational vehicles may be used with a solar power system. These consumer gadgets require only small amount of energy.

The fact that there are two billion people in the world who do not have access to electricity through power grid means that solar power is their only cheapest choice. But still many can’t afford it. The next challenge for government and private sector as well as those who are engaged in the solar power research is to bring the price of owning a PV system in the home more affordable although in recent surveys, the decline cost path is averaging at 4% per anum.

Prices of solar energy had been consistently going down in the last two decades. This is because of the continuous drive of both government and non-government efforts in advancing the cause of solar energy uses and research. It is seen that in the end of this decade, the industry will come to break-even cost with other grid connected power source thus giving more opportunity for the intended consumers to avail of its services.

Honda to Strengthen its Hybrid Standing in the World

Japan’s second-largest automaker and producer of Acura CL body parts, Honda, is hoping for its global sales to increase by 6 percent this year to 3.76 million vehicles as demand in US, Asia, and Europe grows, according to Honda’s President Takeo Fukui last Wednesday.
The company has also stated that it plans to invest in research for hybrids and on other new technologies in Japan. Mr. Fukui also stated “The competition in hybrids has just begun”, specifically referring to Toyota which is currently dominating the hybrid market with its top-selling Prius.

Mr. Fukui said the Honda will present a new hybrid model that operates on both gas and electricity offered at an affordable cost by 2009. With this new model the company is targeting to sell around 200,000 vehicles a year. The automaker will try to focus more on its hybrid offerings and in the process increase its overall hybrid sales to around 10 percent by 2010.

Honda is also expecting for sales to keep on growing in other parts of the world by 2008 and that includes North America, Europe, China, and Japan where sales dropped by 12 percent this year to 620,000 vehicles. The automaker has prepared four new models for Japan to entice buyers, according to Mr. Fukui in an interview with reporters at Tokyo hotel.

The manufacturer of Accord sedan and Civic compact did not provide the overall global sales forecast for 2008 but Mr. Fukui has projected that the North American sales will increase by 3 percent to 1.59 million next year adding it to the expected 3 percent growth this year to 1.55 million vehicles.

The sales projection of Honda for this year is up from the 3.55 million vehicles last 2006. And just like its archrival Toyota, Honda has also obtain sales boost from the recent increase in oil prices add to that the company’s high reputation for good mileage.

Mr. Fukui also announced that the company will spend around $425 million for the construction of a new research center in Japan designed for the development of next-generation cars including fuel cells and hybrids.

The new research center is scheduled to start operation by 2009 but only partially. The official opening of the research center will be on 2010.

Mr. Fukui said that the hybrid system developed by Honda is by far better than that of Toyota’s in the sense that it cost less thereby allowing the automaker to sell its planned hybrid at a more competitive price — and to just how much it will cost? Well Mr. Fukui declined to give any information.

At present there is a great demand for Accord in the US while the Fit subcompact is a hit in Japan. In Europe where Japanese automakers are relatively new in the market, Honda is posting really good results as a matter of fact for this year the company has projected a 23 percent increase to 380 vehicles and sees an 11 percent sales growth next year to 420,000 units.

The expansions being implemented by Honda in Brazil and Argentina has also help boost sales in South America. Similarly sales in China are also projected to increase by 29 percent to 420,000 units sold this year.

Electric Car Designs; What Is Missing?

There are yearly contests for engineering students, as well as high school students that can enter their electric car designs that promote the development of this automotive technology. Despite the fact the electric auto has been manufactured, and forgotten there is a continuous push for more optimal designs that can utilize battery or solar power to move a vehicle.
El Car Designs Do Not Differ that much from Conventional

Electric cars look like conventional cars aesthetically, both when it comes to exterior and interior. The same great and pretty designs are available, and friends and family will hardly be able to tell the difference. However, some new and simmering are emerging even today that promise better efficiency because unlike conventional cars which essentially only stress their aesthetics, electric vehicles also focus on the insides.

A question many people ask is; what exactly makes electric car designs different from other designs of conventional cars? Well, most electric automobiles bypass the use of gasoline and an engine completely although some have a secondary engine and storage tank in case the battery dies. Rather than using gasoline as a primary source of power, electric car design call for the usage of electricity like the name implies. A huge battery, made from materials like lithium ion - which is similar to performance batteries found in electronics like notebook computers - powers an efficient electric motor. New designs allow electric vehicles to travel up to fifty miles or more on a single charge.

Neat Usefulness

While conventional cars can easily travel 250 miles on a tank of gas, electric cars don’t yet have the ability to go even close to hundred miles on a single charge. Keep in mind though that electricity is still much cheaper than gasoline. Nuclear power, hydroelectricity, and other sources of power, can power an electric vehicle indirectly by empowering the lines that the vehicle is charged from at a cost as low as about one cent per mile. The most fuel efficient conventional automobiles still cost around 7.5 cents per mile. It’s unlikely that conventional engines will become significant more efficient, which is why research and development has occurred with regard to alternatives such as fuel made of hydrogen and other chemicals as well as electricity

Electric car designs should not be confused with design of hybrid cars. Hybrid cars utilize technologies from both conventional and electric cars to achieve slightly better fuel efficiency while lowering emissions, but they will probably never be as efficient as electric cars. Several families own two or more vehicles, so they would still have a long range car for vacations and business trips. For a car that’s cheap and efficient for everyday transportation, an electric vehicle is the perfect solution.

Finally!

At long last I have finished planting my bulbs. I spent an hour or so placing and planting the last 200 bulbs sitting in my garage. I did it really quickly because it was really cold and a nasty storm was on it's way. I had to crack through the mushroom compost mulch with a shovel to dig the holes. My biggest surprise was finding literally twenty or thirty active earthworms in each planting hole (I dig large holes and plant 5 or 6 bulbs in each one). I was really surprised to find the worms so close to the soil surface and still wriggling about. I guess I though it would be too cold for them. Maybe my late mulch application helped keep the soil warmer.

Anyway, here are some of the varieties I planted: 'Red Devon' daffs (white with bright orange cup); 'Snow Frills' Daffs (pale yellow with white cup); 'Double Smiles' Daffs (an unknown color since they were a gift!); 'Dreamlight' Daffs (a 1934 heirloom); 'Lady Derby' hyacinth (soft pink); 'Marie' hyacinth (rich, dark purple); and a few Allium caeruleum for good measure.

As if I needed another reason to look forward to the spring....

NEW GERMS NEW STRAINS NEW DANGERS

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A new and virulent strain of adenovirus, which frequently causes the common cold, has spread in parts of the United States, killing 10 people and putting dozens into hospitals, U.S. health officials said on Thursday.

"......Two of the 10 people who have died from the new strain were infants, Su said. The CDC report said about 140 people have been sickened by the virus and more than 50 hospitalized, including 24 admitted to intensive care units."

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071115/us_nm/adenovirus_usa_dc

You may see this repeated more and more these days, "new strain..." It is time for the authorities to open up their medical arsenal to include the alternative therapies that have been shown to work over the years and stop pandering to their greedy masters, the purveyors of the status quo.

What we have done in the past to protect ourselves from epidemics is not working now and maybe never has! A new short article by physicist Gary Wade points out the dangers inherent in vaccinations and their history of ineffectiveness.

http://www.rifeenergymedicine.com/VACCINES.html

"More than 1 million doses of a commonly used vaccine for infants have been recalled because of contamination at the plant where the shots are made, federal health officials said Wednesday."
By Anita Manning, USA TODAYDecember 12, 2007 4:27:48 AM PST

http://abcnews.go.com/Business/story?id=3993077&page=1

What they do not say is that contamination is not unusual, but the rule. As these "new strains" and anti-biotic resistant staph infections are on the increase, we need to look now for solutions before it is too late. We should take a lesson from history, when in the 1890's some 10,000 physicians were using some form of electro medicine, and open the door to experimentation wide before it is too late. See Politics In Healing by Daniel Haley

Just as we are faced with impending doom if we do not find adequate alternative energy, just so we need to usher in alternative medicine. The system as it stands does not work well and is crumbling from its own economical burden.

More Perennials

My Bluestone Perennials catalog arrived in the mail today. A bit early for my taste, but I have a feeling that this isn't the only one I'm going to get from them this winter. Of course I couldn't help flipping through it once I saw what is on the front cover...one of my favorite plants in a variety I don't have! Phlox stolonifera 'Sherwood Purple' - If you don't grow woodland phlox, this is the year to plant it. Another favorite woodland variety is Phlox divaricata. They have 'London Grove' in the catalog, but I think the color is washed out and prefer the darker blue varieties.

Another 'must have' for me is Penstemon 'Electric Blue' (which I may have to mulch for the winter - it's zone 6-9 - and we are borderline 5-6). I'm also a sucker for Euphorbias. I may try a new one from them called 'First Blush' - it looks awfully interesting in the picture. So does 'Tasmanian Tiger' with beautiful white variegation. I grow the annual Euphorbia marginata (Snow on the Mountain) every year from seed that originally came from my great-great grandmother's garden and was given to me by my Nana a few years before she passed away. It is one of my favorite self sowing annuals for the garden.
